Mr. Anil Shahi, a small town man who loved to travel and explore the quality materials in textiles and furniture industry, also someone who appreciates art and lover of European style architecture and furniture started his Furniture store with a family friend who could invest in his idea of High Quality Bespoke Furniture manufacturing. They together started a firm, Satkar Furniture in Rajpura, it was a huge risk as people were amazed and shocked at the quality and design, the finesse and the comfort. With good quality, the price is good too, so, there was the problem, the affordability and awareness about quality products was way less in the 80s. It got challenging and that’s the time one decides to compromise or Go On with the Best. Mr. Anil Shahi, kept travelling to Bombay and Delhi to source the newest and best material in India, he was and is obsessed with unique and new materials. He failed quite a few times but never gave up and experimented faster, brought new things to the market and with best industry quality and started personally approaching to the people in his circle who valued quality and loved the products. They loved the furniture so much that even today they use it, OH YES! 30+ years and same furniture and no restoration, it is that good, the word of mouth did wonders for Mr. Anil Shahi and his friend. People started coming from Chandigarh, Patiala, Ludhiana and from all over Punjab and Haryana, then from Delhi. The competitors started coming into the market with same designs but the quality and the material was way too different. Unfortunately, Mr. Anil Shahi’s the partnership with friend ended when he got American Citizenship but Fortunately, Mr. Anil Shahi got a chance to start a new firm in a better area that is on National Highway 7, in 2001 by the name of SHAHI® FURNITURE BY ANIL SHAHI, by this time, Rajpura, Punjab got famous in North India for Best Quality Furniture and competitors started reaping benefits as well. Our Quality still wins the heart of our customers.
